If children had been visited by this bunny rabbit on Easter Sunday, they may have been scarred for life… if not physically, then definitely mentally. No, that is not a giant plush animal that was won at the county fair. He’s the real deal and his name is Darius.
Measuring over 4 feet long and weighing 50 pounds, Darius is believed to be the world’s largest rabbit. His son Jeff, however, is closing in on his title. Jeff is just under 4 feet long but he’s still growing. They are both part of the Continental Giant breed of rabbits and live in Worcestershire, England.
In addition to specialty rabbit food and hay, Darius and Jeff dine on roughly 2,000 carrots and 700 apples every year. What, no Cadbury Creme Eggs?
